Computer Systems Institute’s newest campus in Worcester, MA is conveniently located at the intersection of Main Street and Mechanic Street. The campus is within walking distance to many attractions, including Worcester Common and Worcester Public Library.

Like all CSI campuses, the Worcester campus offers classrooms that comfortably accommodate 20 – 30 students each and are equipped with new computers, high-speed Internet access, LCD projectors, and network printers.

Sights around Worcester

Worcester, named after a city in England, has a long history and is now the second largest city in the New England region after Boston. Interesting sights in the city include Quinsigamond State Park (once a major fishing site used by Native Americans), the American Antiquarian Society (a research library containing over two-thirds of all known reading material printed before 1821), the Higgins Armory Museum (the only museum in the Western Hemisphere devoted exclusively to weapons and armor), and the Worcester Art Museum (containing paintings and sculptures from artists around the world).

Worcester is one of America’s most livable cities and has received the All-American City Award five times! The city has the resources of a metropolis, but the intimacy of a mid-sized community and has attracted many colleges and universities over the years.

English as a Second Language (ESL) and Skill Building Classes in Worcester

Computer Systems Institute offers two main programs at the Worcester campus. English language learners are able to enroll in the ESL Programs. These courses combine classroom and computer-based learning so that students benefit from reading, writing, and conversational English practice. Programs are offered at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels; therefore, English learners with any amount of language experience are able to improve their skills.

Skill Building programs focus on job skills for the customer service, and hospitality industries. Students choose which professional area they wish to focus on and then participate in classes and internships related to that field.
