Available Tracks

The clinical track of the Healthcare Career Program provides students with an introduction to the medical field and the opportunity to pursue the professional industry certifications needed for a clinical medical assistant. This medical assisting program consists of courses, covering clinical, administrative, and laboratory procedures, as well as medical terminology, phlebotomy, and other academic concepts needed to be successful in the healthcare industry.

  • Medical Assisting Tracks: This course of study provides you with the training you need to be a medical assistant. We combine classroom lectures, laboratory time, and hands-on training to give you a well-rounded education.

While no previous medical experience is required to be successful in our Healthcare Career Program concentrations, it is important to ensure your personality is a good fit for the field. Healthcare workers generally possess the following traits:
