The Skokie campus is conveniently located in the village of Skokie, 1/4 mile west of Eden Highway and approximately 200 yards north of Skokie Swift, a major train and bus hub. Skokie is a village located in Cook County, Illinois. It is a suburb of Chicago, located 16 miles north - northwest of downtown Chicago. Known as Niles Center for 52 years, Skokie was incorporated in 1888 as a thriving community with many homes, places of worship, schools and shops.
The Campus occupies 12,000 square feet of a freestanding building surrounded by open parking lots. The main entrance leads to a spacious visitor's lounge that opens to a Front Desk, Career Advising offices, administrative offices, including the President's office and hallway that leads to the classrooms and labs. The classrooms are located on the first floors of the building. Each classroom comfortably accommodates up to 10 - 20 students and has students' and instructor's stations, high-speed Internet access and network connections, LCD projector, and a connection to networked printers.
To provide for the students and staff security, the campus is equipped with the Security Alarm system that is directly connected to the Skokie Police.
