Please join us in welcoming Andrew Lawrence as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Andrew will be working to lead the development and implementation of innovative curriculum strategies that enhance student learning outcomes. He will collaborate closely with Faculty and staff to ensure CSI’s academic programs are aligned with current industry standards and meet the needs of our diverse student body. In addition, Andrew will focus on improving instructional practices, integrating new technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Department of Academics. We are excited to have Andrew on board and look forward to his leadership!
Andrew Lawrence, Ph.D.(c) in Global Leadership, is an experienced academic executive and program designer with a strong background in online education, leadership, and strategic planning. He has excelled in roles such as Associate Vice President for Online and Distance Education and Online Learning Executive Consultant at Bluefield College where he has led initiatives to grow enrollment, secure partnerships, and drive innovation in virtual learning environments. In his experience, he has led institutional accreditation level changes through the design and development of certificate, bachelorette, and master degree programs in business, education, and nursing.
He has been recognized for his community and involvement within the International Leadership Association and Online Learning Consortium and has been honored as an Emerging Research Scholar, 30 under 30 in the Learning Industry, and member of Alpha Chi and Golden Key honor societies. He is currently volunteering his time to help develop a doctoral program in business for a Christian non-profit education community.
Andrew is committed to enhancing educational experiences through technology, teaching, and leadership development. He is excited to lead the Hybrid 2025 initiative along with other curriculum-focused projects to elevate CSI’s academic offerings and inspire students to reach their academic and professional goals.
