Founded in 1989, CSI has become a premier career training school with over 10,000 graduates most of whom found successful employment within only a few months of graduation.

CSI programs emphasize hands-on learning, industry current technologies, and preparation for professional certifications. CSI utilizes Blended Learning Methodology for its training career programs.

Headquartered in Skokie, IL, the Institute owns and operates five campuses in Illinois: Chicago Loop, Skokie, Lombard, Gurnee, and Elgin and two campuses in Massachusetts: Charlestown and Worcester. The Institute offers its students Career Advising; Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Weekend schedules; and Career Service. The career training campuses are comprised of comfortable classroom/labs, student lounges, administrative offices, and testing centers.

CSI Mission

The mission of Computer Systems Institute is to motivate, educate, and lead our students in pursuit of professional growth by providing a stimulating learning environment, relevant and practical education, supportive student services, and effective career services.

CSI is:

• Accredited by the (NCA CASI) North Central Association.
• Licensed by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).  
• Approved by the Department of Education to provide Title IV funding to eligible students.
• Approved training provider by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
• Approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs to accept GI Bill.
• CSI is authorized under Federal Law to enroll non immigrant F-1 and M-1 students.
• A recipient of the Department of Labor $3MM H-1B Grant.
• CSI is authorized with on-site Prometric, Certiport, Pearson VUE, and NHA testing centers. 
• CSI is a Microsoft IT academy member.

Computer Systems Institute is recognized as a private college by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE), and authorized by IBHE's Division of Private Business and Vocational Schools to offer Certificate-level programs.
